I talked to the owner, here's more info on the VariViggen for sale in New York:
Engine is Lycoming O-360 800 SMOH, overhauled in 1980, Aircraft has about 60 hours. Standard engine gauges plus A/S, ALT, VVI, ATT IND, T/B, Compass, Elec reflex & elec trim, ALT ENC transponder, VHF, VOR, LORAN, Garmin GPS, SP wings. Prop is a Sensenich wood 2 blade 70 X 72 and here's the good part - Cruises at 170 indicated according to the builder/owner. He lost his medical unfortunately.
